Knox-McKibben House
Knox-McKibben House c. 1840 This house is another example of an older back portion of a house that grew. The rear architecture detail points to a building date of the early 1840's. The front portion was added around 1885, when G. E. Knox owned the house. Wood shingles and "sunburst" designs decorate the gables, and the cornice is elaborate with details. The one story porch is supported by Tuscany columns and has a small conical roofed "turret" on one corner.
