Will T. Knox House
Will T. Knox House c. 1897 This house was originally the home of the Will Knox family. For years, the Knox family lived in the main houses along the street, known first as Decatur Street, and later as Gibbs Street. One of the two sons became the superintendent of the Social Circle schools. The Queen Anne styled house has elaborate "gingerbread," turned balusters, spool-work, brackets, applied scroll-work cutouts, decorative wood shingling, and a projecting two story bay distinguishing this irregularly massed, multi-roofed house.
