The Historic Preservation Society presents an annual Tour of Homes.  During the Tour of Homes, a number of Social Circle residents graciously open their homes to visitors from near and far.  For a small fee, visitors may tour several historic homes, many dating from before the Civil War.

Shown here is a sampling of the homes typically included on the annual Tour of Homes.

The 1999 Fall Tour of Homes featured eight historic properties.  Of special interest was the home of the internationally acclaimed chef, Nathalie Dupree, where her PBS television show, Nathalie Dupree Entertains, is filmed.

The proprietors of the world-famous Blue Willow Inn also participated in the 1999 Fall Tour of Homes.  Magnolia Hall, the antebellum mansion which serves as a special events facility, was open for tours.  And, of course, the Blue Willow Inn was available to all who called early for a reservation!

Proceeds from the annual Tour of Homes go toward the continuing restoration of Gunter Hall, the headquarters of the Historic Preservation Society of Social Circle, Inc.
