The Myrtles was built in 1900 by the Upshaw family. It originally sat on the former site of the Bertha Upshaw Clubhouse, now the Blue Willow. The house of late Victorian styling was moved to its current location in 1913. The home has been restored by the Van Dykes, the owners of the Blue Willow. The home now serves as the offices for their business.
The current owners are Louis and Billie Van Dyke
