Will T. Knox built this Queen Ann style house in 1897. Will T. Knox was a leading merchant and resident of the town. Trees for the construction were individually selected by Mr. Knox from his farm in Jersey and thus heart pine was used both for the construction and all interior trim. The Knox home formerly on this site burned to the ground in 1895 while Mrs. Knox was on a shopping spree in Jersey.
The current owners have completed an extensive total remodel in 2008-2009 where a back addition was also added to the house.
The current owners are Wayne and ChiChi Ewing.
