Gibbs-Barton-Westrick House

A silo base in the back yard serves as a reminder that this house,
built in 1910, was once the homestead of a 200-acre farm. In the mid 20th
century, the home was converted to apartments, leaving doors in the hallway
that remain today. Renovated and updated in the 1960s, the home was again
remodeled by the present owners in 2006, and an addition was placed on the
back of the house. Note the home’s eight fireplaces, each with a different
style of mantle; the downstairs bathroom sink, discovered underneath the house
and returned to its original location; and the landing bathroom, extended
in the recent addition and containing a former exterior window that now provides
sunlight to the back stairway.
