acreage, this Federal style home was built in 1810 by Dr. William Johnston.
In 1857, the columns were added and the home enlarged to a Greek revival style
as was popular at the time. It was the oldest standing residence in
Madison Ga., when it’s current owner, Mr. Lee Smith, moved the home
to Walton County.
